Welcome to Serenity Dental Care. Let me give you a
glimpse at what you can expect at your first visit.
Our doctors will be happy to answer all your questions, but
seeing you in person is the only way to know what is best for
you, your smile, and your total dental health.
- As a
new patient, we can setup one of two initial
appointments. A consultation can be
used if you have specific questions about our
services or dental care. We will be able to screen
your current oral health and discuss options for
you. A consultation is common for a fearful patient
that is interested in meeting with up to learn about
our sedation options, or an individual that has
questions about cosmetic options that may be best
for them such as Lumineers, Invisalign, and Boost or
Zoom whitening.

- A
comprehensive exam is necessary for all patients
ready to be active patients of Serenity Dental Care.
The comprehensive exam involves a complete series of
x-rays and thorough evaluation to screen for decay,
failing restorations, periodontal disease, and oral
cancer.

- We
would also be happy to assist a patient with an
urgent dental issue if a patient is
in discomfort or has an initial concern that they
would like to address. An initial limited exam is
necessary to evaluate the immediate concern and also
usually involves an x-ray of the focused area of
concern. Depending on the options selected by the
patient, initial treatment may be able to be
completed at this initial visit. This initial visit
is helpful for patients that may be in immediate
discomfort or have a fractured tooth or loose
filling.
